St Paul’s Chapel is across the road from the World Trade Center, and by some miracle, was undamaged (apart from the tree previously mentioned) when the Towers came down.

This bell was given to the people of New York City by the people of London following the terrorist attacks in London.
It is impossible to get one clear shot of the chapel due to the trees etc, so here’s two which you can combine in your mind.
We realised that the kids didn’t fully comprehend what had happened across the road. We had bought a kid’s book which explained it, and we decided that St Paul’s chapel grounds was an appropriate place.
