Buildings

One thing Manhattan has is big buildings, and lots of them. There’s the Woolworth Building which was the biggest in the world when it was built, the Chrysler Building, which was the biggest in the world when it was built for about six months (1930) until the Empire State Building was built (1931), which then became the biggest building the world. Then the World Trade Center Towers were the biggest in the world for a number of years. Now the Empire State Building is the biggest in the city again, and it certainly dominates the skyline. It still ranks highly, even after all of these years.

This one here is the Woolworth Building, just up the road from Trinity Church.
