My favourite part of the tram tour was passing through the middle of a street scene from a movie I had seen. In the Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds, there's a scene where a passenger jet crashes into a suburban street. After filming this scene (using a real aircraft which they took apart as if it had crashed), they left it for us to see. Very surreal. The engines were spinning and various parts were spewing smoke. Very realistic.
