Making the most of our bodies still being on East Coast time, we headed off early this morning to get to Universal Studios before opening time, so we were ready when they opened.
The Guide Books we had read suggested that the theme parks do not get crowded until a couple of hours after opening time. So we decided to test them out. And they were right.
We started with a ride for all on the Back to the Future Ride, which Liz and I rode when we were last here in the mid-90s. Sam enjoyed it, but it was a bit much for the girls. We only had to wait a few minutes for this ride. We then headed down to the lower lots where several of the more serious (and popular) rides and attractions were.
Here you can see the kids waiting for opening time.
