Hollywood

Today was another relaxing day. Church with the Lious in the morning, followed by lunch for all at the Hat, a famous landmark in downtown Pasadena. The fare reminded me very much of Crown Burgers, the traditional stop on the way out to the Fly's Eye Observatory back in my Utah Days.

After another swim in the afternoon, it was time to temporarily bid the Lious farwell (but not their car!), and we headed off to our new near-Disneyland abode.

On the way, we took a slight (well major) detour, and ended up in Hollywood.

First it was the Hollywood sign.

Then onto the walk of stars down Hollywood Boulevard, and some other notable landmarks such as the Capitol Record Building.

Then on to the La Brae Tar Pits which are still bubbling away today.

Tomorrow ... Disneyland
