As an astrophysicist, I couldn’t come to Flagstaff without visiting Meteor Crater which is a short drive east of Flagstaff. Spent a couple of hours having a look and working my way through the displays. It’s still big and still impressive.
(I didn’t get to Lowell Observatory this time around – it’s where Pluto was discovered in the 1930’s – and is actually IN Flagstaff – next time)
