Today we went to a Nationals game, the local Major Legaue Baseball team, at RFK (Robert F Kennedy) Stadium. The stadium used to be the home of the Redskins (NFL), but now hosts the Nationals (who have only been a DC for a few years), and DC United, the local major league soccer team.
As you can see, it wasn't hugely crowded (Nationals are currently bottom of their division), and today they played the Rockies who weren't much better. But they did win, with a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 8th.
The kids had their hot dog (as you do at the baseball), and we enjoyed a pleasant day. Sam was getting into the stats as well.
