Olympics Telecast

I've just finished watching the coverage for the night of the Olympics here on NBC, especially the swimming. And their closing has just surprised me. On a night when Michael Phelps has won a Gold medal, you would expect that they would finish the show with him receiving his medal and the Star Spangled Banner. But No, they finished focussed on another swim star from another country and her country's national anthem.

I wonder, did Channel 7 in Australia finish off with Phelps or Rice?

Definitely one for the Americans and the Olympic Spirit.
