Spies Like Us

Today I took Sam and his friend Drew into DC to the International Spy Museum. We spent hours working our way through all the exhibits. The boys especially liked seeing an Enigma machine and how it worked. And then we enjoyed a hot dog and fries at the Spy Cafe.

And to top off the day, we went to the top of the Washngton Monument. It was an exceptionally clear day (visibility 35-40 miles). It was obvious how low all the buildings in DC are (some regulations prevent skyscapers being built in DC - scenes from the latet Die Hard movie which is supposedly set in DC were actually taken in Philadelphia). The boys had a great time picking out all the landmarks (whats' the building behind them here?)
